Kickstart your year!

The post-holiday blues is real and so is the struggle to get out of vacation mode and into work mode! Anyone else feel like they’re working in slow motion? Do you need a boost to get your year headed in the right direction? Do you feel like there is so much to do and you don’t know where to start?

Press the restart button by creating a plan-of-action and focusing on some primary areas of your life:

  1. You

  2. Your Space

  3. Your Circle

You. Only you have the power to honestly check-in with yourself and address your needs. Spend some time reflecting in order to decompress what you’ve been through, where you are now and where you’re headed. Remember, the “little things” matter just as much as the “big things.”

Ask yourself:

  • How am I feeling physically?

  • How am I feeling emotionally?

  • How am I feeling spiritually?

  • How am I feeling mentally?

  • What are my goals in all of these areas?

  • How can I can accomplish these goals?

Tips:

  • Answer these questions with a clear mind

  • Keep it simple

  • Try journaling through these questions

Your Space. Declutter your mind by decluttering your space! Your space and where you spend most of your time can impact you more than you realize. Your environment can also be used as a resource to help you reach your goals.

Ask Yourself:

  • How do the spaces I occupy currently make me feel?

  • What do I want the spaces I occupy to feel like?

  • How can I change or improve this?

  • How can I make my space more functional?

  • What do I want to change in my space?

Tips:

  • Don’t overwhelm yourself by organizing everything at once

  • Create a vision for your space

Your Circle. The people you surround ourselves with have a profound impact on your life. It is easy to accept people being in our lives through convenience or habit, but taking time to evaluate who we keep closest to us is critical for our own well-being.

Ask yourself:

  • Who am I surrounding myself with?

  • Why am I surrounding myself with these people?

  • What do these relationships give and take from me?

  • Do the people I surround myself help me reach my goals?

  • Do I need to distance myself from anyone?

Tips:

  • Be honest with yourself

  • Trust yourself

  • Know that you are strong enough to handle the answers to these questions

xoxo
