secured.

secured. is Power Pump Girls’ initiative that combats period poverty and the stigma associated with menstruation.

“secured.” is an ongoing year-round initiative with an objective to serve as many in-need menstruators as possible. By partnering with local organizations that serve under-resourced populations, “secured.” staff and volunteers are able to inventory, process, and distribute an average of 75,000 free period products annually.

“secured.” is  an initiative to combat period poverty and the stigma associated with menstruation. This program distributes FREE  period products to individuals in need and advocates for women’s health and feelings of security during their period.  “secured.” provides education and awareness on issues related to menstruation, poverty and health.

“secured.” is the answer to an often-unspoken need in our community. The reality for far too many women and girls is that they are unable to afford or access the basic necessities needed to manage their monthly cycle in a safe and hygienic manner. This program was initiated from the belief that everyone should have easy access to essential needs like menstrual hygiene products, regardless of their circumstances. By offering period products like tampons, pads and liners at no cost to those in need, “secured.” is leveling the playing field for those who face period poverty and the stigma associated with menstruation. By ensuring that individuals of all ages and races have the resources they need, the program is  not just providing products; it’s  empowering communities and breaking down barriers to equality.

secured. is building a future where access to essential products is not a privilege, but a right.

To date, Power Pump Girls, Inc. has:

  • distributed over 400,000 menstrual products to individuals in need

  • partnered with over 30 organizations to provide resources in our local community

  • engaged over 200 volunteers annually to connect + serve
