Sara West would describe herself as energetic, outgoing, organized, funny, and loyal. She graduated from LSU with a Master’s in Elementary Education and she taught until this past December when she made the decision to turn her side hustle, South Coast Organizers, into her full time job (you go girl!). Her advice to other female hustlers and entrepreneurs is to leap and be fearless.

Sara loves the evidence of relief on her clients faces after she has worked her magic and helped organize their lives. She wants to provide peace, make the homes of others a sanctuary, and a place where they can “recharge.” In the future, Sara is striving to have a team who is able to work with her on larger projects. She would like to partner with like-minded businesses to expand into other aspects of design.

When she is not organizing you can find her at her local farmers market or in her kitchen. Sara loves to cook and eat delicious food with her friends, husband, and her dog, Oliver. If you’re lucky you may even catch her dancing with her girls of the Prancing Babycakes. She can be found at any and all Baton Rouge events, she loves to be where the fun and action is happening.

To date, Sara’s proudest accomplishment is taking a leap of faith to start her own business. She is proud she finally gained the courage to make the big move (we are proud of you too!). As entrepreneur and creative Sara enjoys the feeling of building something individually and having success that is a direct result of her hard work. When facing challenges Sara believes in the power of communication. When she communicates and listens to others she is inspired and this feeds her creative mind.

For Sara, purpose is what we are meant to do and what we can change as we have new experiences. Specifically for her, organizing is how she can help others, mainly women, and use her talents and knowledge to re-energize and refocus the lives of others.
