W(O)W: Isabel Rae Jones x Organic Marketing
Isabel Rae Jones is an Organic Marketing Coach who specializes in helping women grow their businesses on Instagram through authentic connections and target marketing practices. She is the mother to two boys and shares how coming from a strong line of women has impacted the woman she is today.
Isabel is passionate about helping all women, but specifically has a heart for helping mothers. She personally understands the guilt that can arise after realizing that children are not the sole purpose for a woman after they become a mother. She wants women to embrace their role as a mother and live freely as themselves by understanding that they are able to do both.
She recalls growing up watching strong and empowered women lead their communities and households. By focusing on the amazing things women have done and continue to do, Isabel has been able to embrace the mindset that she can accomplish anything.
By her 25th birthday, Isabel was married with two kids. For most of her professional life she was a barista and became a stay-at-home mom shortly before the birth of her second son. She always wanted to be a mother but knew she didn’t want that to be the pillar of her identity. This personal understanding motivated her to start a Branding Photography business earlier this year. She became an Organic Marketing Coach because she couldn’t fully serve her customers with quality photos and websites if they didn’t know how to find their clientele.
Authentic. Empathetic. Rebellious.
Isabel has a deep and consistently growing understanding of how others feel in a situation, which helps her to truly connect with others on a deep level. She strives to be the truest version of herself and share her truth with the world. She usually tends to take the “beaten path” and is not one to follow the typical structures. This habit enables Isabel to help others walk down new and authentic paths to success.
She is passionate about becoming the best person she can be and enjoys journaling, which provides her with personal time and relief. This time in the morning helps her to step into the woman she wants to be (coffee does too! #retweet). If she isn’t hard at work, you can find her making music on her iPad, playing at the playground with her kids or binge watching Netflix with her husband.
She wants to help rewrite the narrative for women and the idea that there are preexisting notions concerning what a woman “should” do. Her hope is to use her experiences as a woman, wife and mother in order to help other women feel empowered to define their own version of what it means to be a woman so that, “they can live in alignment with who they’re truly meant to be.”
Isabel defines purpose as, “the sum of your passions and your value,” which is the ethos behind her business. She believes that if everyone merged their passion and what they love with their unique talents and abilities, then they would be living in their purpose.
“If you don’t do what you love, no one will love what you do.”
How does Isabel face challenges? Google. (same, if Google doesn’t have the answer neither do I!) She tries to remember, when in the midst of a trial, that she doesn’t know everything, but can figure it out. Her process begins with setting the panic aside, taking a moment to realign her mindset and then compartmentalizing the problem by taking it one step at a time.
Stay true to you. People find success in different ways and Isabel acknowledges that success is most often sustained when it is rooted in happiness and not outside opinions. She encourages others to continue on the path they trust even when others may tell them they’re wrong. For whoever needs to hear it, Isabel wants you to know, “Seriously, you’ve got this!”
Through her work, Isabel is reminded that she provides value to the world and highlights how, “Too often we all believe we’re not needed, but when something you made actually impacts people positively that feeling goes away completely and you feel deserving of your space.” She proudly admires her business as it grows and begins to come alive. Isabel appreciates watching the transformation of her clients as they become more confident in their marketing and grow in their own unique way.
“The more women I can help step into an ownership role, the more I think we will all feel like we can truly have it all.”
Looking to the future, Isabel holds nothing back. She wants to see balance in the business world and is on a mission to help more people own their time, control their finances, and own a business that truly gives them a stable work and life balance. As she helps more businesses she is reminded of her opportunity to help the “little guy” become the “bigger fish” in the financial pool.
