Census 2020: Tag me in
Raise your hands in the air and wave them like you just don’t care!
The 2020 census is due this month! The new deadline is SEPTEMBER 30th. Shoutout to Power Coalition, for their intentional work centered around their goal to, equip [their] fellow Louisianans with the knowledge and information they need to find their voice, and learn where and when to use it.
What is the Census?
The goal of the Census is to help the government to better understand the population and who they are. This resource will help the government more successfully fulfill the needs of the people. This census will be used to determine where the federal money is spent. Federal money, guided by the Census, will be used for reasons relating to voting accessibility, income security, healthcare, food security and more.
The Census is only 10 questions and should take no more than 10 minutes! There are three ways to respond:

On the phone
Mailed Paper Form
For each person left uncounted Louisiana will lose $2, 291, so make sure you #TagIn.
