DIY Friday x Painted Denim
Warning: This DIY is next level, but we know you can handle it!
The inspiration for this DIY came from a VSCO post that featured a pair of painted jeans based on the Tyler the Creator album Flower Boy (2017).
Materials:
Denim Garment (tip: stop by your local thrift store)
Acrylic Paint (note: this paint dries quickly and is permanent once dry!)
Textile Medium (this can be found at almost all craft stores and turns acrylic paints into washable fabric paints)
Paint Brushes
Chalk
Masking Tape

Process:
Pour the wine, play some good music, dance and get those creative vibes flowing !!
Plan your design . . . or don’t (tip: check out Pinterest)
Use the chalk to sketch your design
Prep the paints
-Mix the acrylic paints with the textile medium; 1 part paint to 2 parts textile medium
Start painting!!
Let your denim garment dry overnight
Iron garment with medium heat
Let the garment cool
Wash & dry your garment
Create an #PPG inspired outfit and rock your new piece
