Michelle is an LSU graduate and currently teaches second grade math. “Damien Discover's His Gift” is her first published children's book! The book promotes a simple message that everyone has a gift that will reveal itself at the perfect time! She also has her own personal poetry blog, Love Always, M Ashley. Michelle says that the purpose of this blog is to, “uplift, encourage, and remind people to be who they were meant to be freely through the power God has given them.” If this was not enough, add Unwrap’d, Inc to the list! This is currently under development and allows Michelle to design logos and help develop websites for starting businesses. Michelle shares she is able to "unwrap" the potential of today's youth through tutoring and mentorship in alignment with Unwrap’d, Inc.

Michelle enjoys everything she does as a writer, educator, mentor, and creative. Fun Fact: Michelle graduated from Ministry School in May of 2018 (CONGRATULATIONS!!). She shares that the most rewarding part is truly knowing she is able to spread love in various forms and have fun why’ll she does it. She has a list of DO’s for female entrepreneurs both established or in the making.

Michelle advises:

• Do keep yourself in the company of encouraging people.

• Do believe in yourself.

• Do give it your all.

• Do start the business.

• Do ask for help!

• Do push through the failure and try again!

• Do the small stuff, and the stuff for free!

When faced with a challenge Michelle was honest and admitted to releasing a good cry (I can relate!!). She listens to some encouraging music and reminds herself not stay worried or angry because her God has a plan! She shares her mentality and belief that nothing is a challenge for God, so why worry about something that he already has the answer to!

Michelle believes purpose is the reason why we were made with our own unique fingerprint. It is what the world needs more of!! You can find Michelle hanging with her favorite Power Pump Girls at any location with free Wi-Fi and comfort! If you can’t find her there, she will most likely be at the gym or spending time with loved ones.

These are Michelle’s favorite pumps because they are “her in a shoe.” Yellow is her favorite color, and lace is one of her favorite styles. She only brings them out for special days because she doesn’t want anything to ever happen to them! She shares that she will “love them forever and own them forever.”
